Earlier this year, SPACE received Three Star accreditation, the highest standard awarded by Best Companies, and a recognition held by only a small number of organisations nationwide. For us, this carried real meaning. It affirmed the culture we see in the studio each day and the commitment people bring to their work and to one another.

The newly published rankings build on that accreditation. SPACE has been named the 12th Best Small Company to work for in the UK and placed 2nd in the Architecture and Surveying category. Within the North East, we placed 6th overall and were identified as the region’s leading small company. These results reflect a steady rise over recent years, and seeing that progression continue is both affirming and energising.

As a practice, we place great value on creating a warm, genuinely productive studio environment. The quality of our work is inseparable from the culture in which it is embedded. These latest results reinforce that belief and acknowledge the collective effort that goes into sustaining it.
