Ryan Wigham is an Associate Architectural Technologist at SPACE Architects and has been a steadfast part of the practice for over 20 years. With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, Ryan brings a depth of technical knowledge that few can rival, making him one of the studio’s most trusted voices in digital delivery.

A trained Architectural Technologist, Ryan has spent the past 14 years specialising in Building Information Modelling, overseeing the creation and implementation of high-quality, manufacturer-specific Revit content and delivering live projects through coordinated BIM workflows. From content creation to BIM consultancy, he combines practical construction knowledge with advanced digital capability, ensuring models are not just visually accurate but technically robust and buildable.

Ryan is widely regarded as the go-to person for complex technical and digital queries. Whether refining workflows, troubleshooting intricate Revit challenges or advising on best practice, he approaches problems with clarity, patience and precision. His ability to translate technical complexity into workable solutions makes him an invaluable asset to project teams across the practice.

Beyond project work, Ryan has presented and spoken at events across the UK, sharing his expertise in BIM and digital construction. As a resident Revit specialist, he continues to shape how SPACE approaches coordinated design and information management.

Ryan brings warmth and approachability to his technical leadership. A lifelong Newcastle United supporter, he can often be found discussing match results as easily as model coordination strategies. Outside of work, he spends much of his time with his family, watching his children play sports or taking their dog for a walk, a balance that reflects his grounded approach both in and out of the studio.
