Approaching Tasks with an Innovative Mindset  

Ollie Broadfoot joined SPACE Architects as a Trainee Architectural Technician in the 2026 cohort, following a summer break after sixth form. His passion for architecture was sparked at a young age, influenced by his talent for drawing and art at school. This combination of creativity and an interest in building design led him to pursue a career in architectural technology.

Ollie’s day-to-day responsibilities include setting up projects and contributing to feasibility studies, while continuing to build his technical knowledge and practical skills. Motivated and eager to learn, he takes every opportunity to gain hands-on experience and deepen his understanding of architecture in practice.

Through his training, Ollie has gained valuable experience across different areas of the practice, building a strong foundation for his future career. He approaches each task with an innovative mindset, always looking for creative solutions and opportunities to broaden his knowledge.

Beyond the office, Ollie enjoys playing and watching football, spending time with friends and family, and indulging in good food.
