An Analytical Approach to Problem Solving
Donna Khan is a recent addition to the SPACE Architects team, having joined at the end of 2024. She approaches architecture with a passion for problem solving, a discerning eye for design, and a practical, hands-on approach, infusing a fresh insight and vibrant energy into the education team.
Captivated by architecture since childhood, Donna views the profession as the ideal balance of creativity and technical skill, combining two of her strongest attributes. Prior to joining SPACE, she worked on a range of large-scale projects and made a meaningful contribution to the built environment, including the award-winning Newcastle University Stephenson Building. Her involvement was instrumental in ensuring the design truly served the needs of its diverse users.
With a rich background in management, Donna is ever in pursuit of ways to refine processes and deliver efficient, high-quality design outcomes. As a parent of young children, this organised mindset carries into her personal life, where she balances family commitments with a passion for DIY home projects. In the quieter moments in between the chaos, she enjoys escaping into a good fantasy novel.
Inspired by SPACE’s devotion to sustainability and its spirit of innovation and collaboration, Donna has proven herself a driven force within the team. She embraces the chance to shape the way people experience their environments and to uplift daily life through thoughtful and inspired design.
