Part II Architectural Assistant
A Confident Young Creative
With a heightened curiosity and a people-focused attitude, Brook Wilkinson is an ambitious Part II Architectural Assistant who brings a fresh perspective and passion to the practice. Brook joined SPACE after completing her Part I studies at Northumbria University in 2022, feeling inspired to find architectural solutions that enhance users’ lives, aligning with our Net Zero principles.
As a member of the Education Team, she’s fulfilling her personal goals by working on several high-profile projects, giving back to the community one build at a time. With a deep commitment to her work and a passion for learning, Brook has supported the delivery of several education projects including the Woodham Academy, Callerton Academy, Thorp Academy Extension, and is acting Co-lead on Thornhill Academy and Woodlands Academy, overseeing technical detailing, specifications, BIM coordination and management of IRS.
Her organisational skills and initiative shine through not just on her work projects, but in her personal life too, having achieved a Distinction on her master’s thesis exploring ‘Psychosocially Supportive Design.’ Brook’s dedication to the community shows through her participation in charity events such as the Gingerbread Street Charity Event for Oasis Housing, and her willingness to support others.
Outside of the office, Brook enjoys cooking and baking, reading a good book, and more active endeavours such as pilates and long walks on the beach.
Commended by her Team Leaders as someone who has ‘a unique ability to bridge architectural creativity with practical solutions,’ Brook has become a rapidly invaluable member of the SPACE Architects team.
