SPACE is proud to announce the recent promotions of four members of the team. David Wise and Andrew Bumfrey have been appointed as Directors, while Liam Barnes and Grant Bramwell have been made Associate Directors.
Grant Bramwell has been with SPACE for over 16 years, having joined in 2007. He has helped deliver some fantastic projects, including commercial, sports and leisure, education, and theatre and performing arts. He is currently involved in delivering the Darlington Railway Heritage Quarter, a heritage project that involves the refurbishment and remodelling of Grade II & Grade II* Listed railway buildings.
Speaking on his new promotion, Associate Director Grant said, "I'm delighted that I've been promoted to Associate Director, and I'm particularly looking forward to playing an active role in delivering high-quality projects which involve the creative re-use of our existing building stock, something which is going to be important moving forward to a low carbon future."
David Wise joined SPACE in 2013 to assist in the delivery of several later living projects. He soon became instrumental in developing a growing retail and commercial pipeline that continues to form an important part of the company's portfolio. David has led projects across a range of sectors, including higher education, mixed-use commercial, residential, and workplace design.
David commented, "As a leader in the practice through a successful period of growth; I'm delighted that my contribution has been reflected in my promotion to director.
I'm proud to be part of a purpose-driven organisation where people and the planet are at the heart of what we do. When I reflect on ten years with the business, I'm grateful for the opportunities and support I've had from Rob and the team in a role that has brought great professional and personal fulfilment.
I'm excited and motivated by the challenges ahead as we set ourselves ambitious targets to address the climate crisis."
